Can you believe it is August??!?
I certainly can’t. It has been almost a month since Sticker Launch 3.0 happened. Seems like it was just yesterday…But are you ready for some crazy announcements?
—Drum roll please—
Piper Louisa Arts is splitting up!
Now, don’t fret, it is a good thing. It is also not as dramatic as I am making it seem. This is something that I briefly touched on in a recent Instagram reel. After thinking about it and getting some advice, I have decided to create two separate shops for my stickers and my original art. You may have already seen a shift in how the website is currently laid out as I have shifted the focus to stickers. My originals website won’t be up and running for a hot minute so for now the originals and stickers are still in one place.
My goal is to have both website updated and running smoothly by October 1st. That may seem far away but there are some other things in the works that are taking precedence over the website design. But Piper, what could be more important than splitting the websites?
I am so glad you asked. For those who are new, I am working on a children’s book series. It had been put on pause for a bit as I reworked the story and subsequently, completely rewrote it. I will be beginning the illustrations coming up soon.
Another thing in the works is more stickers designs. That’s right! Sticker Launch 3.5 is on its way! It is already in development with two new animals, four new race cars, and one new general sticker. You heard it here first folks, seven new stickers will be joining the existing nineteen.
The last thing that is about to be underway is a new studio! My siblings are preparing to move out on our own (I know, scary stuff.) In our new place, we are blessed to have an extra room that will become the art studio. Before that can happen, the room needs to be repainted as it is a dark gray which is not conducive to a great studio space. I will be documenting that process on both Instagram and
Youtube. Shock, gasp, Piper, you have a Youtube???? I do. I have posted two videos that honestly have nothing to do with art but they were to just get my feet wet. I will hopefully have another video up soon!
